چکیده
i ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS I would like to acknowledge the individuals who supported my research and made it all the more rewarding by joining me in the process. First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude for my adviser, Professor Charlene Galarneau. I was incredibly blessed to have Professor Galarneau's support that took shape in many different forms, but always inspired me to take intellectual risks and explore unfamiliar terrain. Her belief in the value of my project even when it was just a kernel of an idea gave me the confidence to develop it into what it is today. I hope to carry the invaluable lessons she shared with me as I move forward. I would like to thank the Jerome A. Schiff Fellowship, which allowed me to devote my Wintersession to interviewing elderly Korean American women. Once I set out to conduct my interviews, there were several groups that connected me with elderly Korean American women. In particular, I would like to recognize the Korean Women's Association for including me in their community events and introducing me to elderly Korean American women. I would like to honor the eight elderly Korean American women who shared their experiences and entrusted their stories with me. I was humbled by their willingness to contribute to my project and their desire to be as helpful as possible for my benefit. Just as they welcomed me into their homes and lives, this work seeks to reciprocate such demonstration of inclusion by making their voices heard. Lastly, I would like to thank my grandma for showing me the meaning of care and the need for aging justice.

There is an urgent need for reconstructing models of property to make them more women-friendly. However, we need not start from scratch: both 'canonical' and feminist authors can sometimes provide concepts which we can refine and apply towards women's propertylessness. This paper looks in particular at women's alienation from their reproductive labour, building on Marx and Delphy. Developing an...

Is the theory that grounds H. Tristram Engelhardt's The Foundations of Bioethics and the practices it suggests compatible with the theory and practices found in feminist approaches to bioethics? Is The Foundations ofBioethics a work that teaches "that the subordination of women is morally wrong and that the moral experience of women is as worthy of respect as that of men?"' Or is it instead a w...

BACKGROUND Adjustments in zinc losses and absorption are thought to maintain zinc homeostasis with changes in intake, but the capacity to make these adjustments appears to be affected by aging. Zinc status of the individual may also influence adjustments in fractional zinc absorption. OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of changes in zinc status due to zinc suppleme...
